James Speiser is a veteran of the Austin, TX, San Francisco, CA and Denver, CO music scenes playing professionally over 25 years. Originally he forged his gritty and soulful vocal and guitar stylings the hard way many years on the street in 15 below zero. After teaming up with Pattie Melt on Tenor sax over 16 years ago this dynamic duo forged the heavy hitting authentic blues, New Orleans funk and old-school R&B band Roots & Rhythm. James is playing at Blues From the Top with Lionel Young, the world's only 2-time Champion of the International Blues Challenge of Memphis.
